Enlarged Prostate Symptoms |
 |
|
An enlarged prostate is very common and
its likelihood increases with age. When the prostate gland gets
bigger the layer of tissue around it presses against the urethra and
makes the bladder irritable. Symptoms of an enlarged prostate
include:
A constant and urgent need to go
to the bathroom
A slow or delayed start when
trying to urinate
Dribbling after urinating
Weak stream
Pain with passing urine
Blood in urine (this can also be
linked with prostatitis)
Feeling of a full bladder right
after going to the bathroom
Disturbed sleep from needing to
urinate
Incontinence
If
you have these symptoms it is recommended you see a medical
professional to have tests done for an enlarged prostate.
